"Found three spots in the Alabama Hills I never would have discovered alone. GPS coords are exact. No guessing at 2am on a dirt road."

"Showed up not knowing anyone. Left with people already texting about the next run to Steens Mountain. Didn't expect that from a camping app."

"The rooftop tent guide saved me from a $400 mistake. Field-tested advice by people who actually use this gear — not affiliate bloggers."

Every rally runs on people doing what they already love — someone knows the route, someone shoots the reel, someone holds a wilderness first-aid cert. Organizers set the plan. Skill contributors offset their costs. Everyone ends the weekend having spent less than a solo hotel night — and usually with a group chat already planning the next run.
You know a good route. Post it, set the group size, invite people. Skill-exchange members help lower your costs. No guide license needed. Most organizers end the weekend ahead.
Photography, drone, camp cooking, wilderness first aid, video — organizers need these skills and will trade you a fee waiver or stipend. Submit your portfolio, agree on deliverables, show up.
No skills to trade yet? That's fine — join your first event, learn the routes, find your crew. Most of our organizers started exactly this way.
All events listed are independently organized by community members. Ciwild is an information platform only and does not organize, supervise, or assume liability for any event. Participation is at your own risk. Valid outdoor adventure insurance required for all participants.
