CIWILD Community ("CIWILD," "we," "us," or "our") is committed to protecting your personal information. This Privacy Policy describes how we collect, use, store, disclose, and protect your personal information when you use the Platform at [www.ciwildcommunity.com].

2.1 Information You Provide Directly
- Account information: name, email address, username, password, profile photo
- Profile information: biography, self-reported skills, outdoor experience level, general location (city/state)
- Activity listings: descriptions, dates, locations, pricing, and other content you post as an Organizer
- Purchase information: billing address, shipping address. Payment card data is handled directly by our third-party payment processor and is not stored by CIWILD.
- Communications: messages, reviews, feedback, and support inquiries you submit through the Platform
- Waitlist and sign-up data: email address and any information submitted through sign-up or interest forms
2.2 Information Collected Automatically
When you access or use the Platform, we automatically collect:
- Usage data: pages viewed, features accessed, links clicked, session duration
- Device and technical data: IP address, browser type and version, operating system, device type, screen resolution
- Cookie and tracking data: session identifiers and analytics data (see Section 8 for details)
- Referral data: the URL or source that directed you to our Platform

6. EMAIL COMMUNICATIONS — CAN-SPAM ACT COMPLIANCE
All marketing emails we send comply with the U.S. CAN-SPAM Act. In every marketing email:
- The sender is clearly identified as CIWILD Community
- The subject line accurately reflects the content of the email
- Our physical mailing address is included
- A clear and easy mechanism to unsubscribe is provided
To unsubscribe from marketing emails, click the "Unsubscribe" link in any marketing email or contact us at info@ciwild.com with "Unsubscribe" in the subject line. We will honor opt-out requests within 10 business days.
Unsubscribing from marketing emails will not affect your receipt of transactional emails related to your account, purchases, or activity bookings.
7. DATA RETENTION
We retain your personal information for as long as your account is active or as otherwise necessary to provide Platform services. We may retain certain information beyond account deletion where required by law, or for legitimate business purposes such as resolving disputes, enforcing agreements, or maintaining financial records.
Upon account deletion, we will delete or anonymize your personal data within 30 days, except where applicable law requires longer retention.
